University of Bahrain Organizes “Your Psychological Resilience Makes the Difference” Lecture to Promote Mental Health Awareness
The University of Bahrain organized a lecture titled “Your Psychological Resilience Makes the Difference” as part of the Psychological Development Program for University Students, within the university’s efforts to promote mental health awareness among students and equip them with the skills needed to cope with academic and life pressures.
The lecture was delivered by Nada Naseem from Bahrain Polytechnic via Microsoft Teams, where she discussed the importance of mental health in a university student’s life, the main sources of stress and anxiety, and a number of practical skills for coping with pressure, such as prioritizing tasks, positive thinking, relaxation techniques, and maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
The speaker also emphasized the importance of seeking psychological support when needed, as well as enhancing self-awareness and building supportive relationships to achieve balance between academic and personal life.
The Deanship of Student Affairs continues to implement awareness and counseling programs and initiatives aimed at supporting students psychologically and academically, while enhancing the overall quality of university life.
