Strengthening Global Synergies: UI GreenMetric Conducts Official Institutional Visit to Institut Français d’Indonésie

On March 12, 2026, UI GreenMetric once again reaffirmed its commitment to the principles of sustainable development on a global scale. Over the years, UI GreenMetric has proven its effectiveness as an influential and reliable assessment system, gaining recognition not only in Indonesia but also throughout the international academic community. Through continuous engagement with universities and institutions worldwide, UI GreenMetric continues to expand its reach, strengthening its role in promoting the principles of sustainable development in higher education. In line with this goal, the initiative emphasizes the importance of international and multinational cooperation to ensure that the methodologies and parameters of its sustainable university rankings remain relevant, adaptable, and applicable worldwide.

As part of this commitment, UI GreenMetric paid an official visit to the French Institut Français d’Indonésie (IFI) to meet with representatives of Campus France. This visit represents a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening international academic cooperation, particularly within the French higher education system. By strengthening close institutional ties, this collaboration opens opportunities for deeper cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the alignment of sustainable development practices at the international level. Such collaboration contributes to the continuous improvement and internationalization of the UI GreenMetric framework, ensuring its ability to respond to diverse institutional contexts.

The UI GreenMetric delegation was led by Dr. Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., Chairperson of UI GreenMetric; Dr. Abellia Anggi Wardani, S.Hum., M.A., Vice Chairperson of UI GreenMetric; Sabrina Hikmah Ramadianti, S.Si., Program, Partnerships, and Communications Manager; Muhamad Ferdy Firmansyah, S.E., M.Sc., Partnership Officer; and Caroline Andrea Windah S. Hum., Executive Secretary Intern. They met with the Campus France delegation led by Antoine Bricout, Attaché for University and Educational Cooperation; Gema Akbar Pratama, Deputy Attaché for University Cooperation; and Chaymaa Neddad, National Coordinator of Campus France Indonesia.

This meeting marked an important milestone in UI GreenMetric’s ongoing efforts to expand international engagement and institutional partnerships. During a constructive dialogue, both sides explored potential areas of cooperation and expressed a shared commitment to promoting the principles of sustainable development in higher education. This visit not only reflects a mutual interest in establishing a fruitful and long-term partnership but also underscores a broader convergence of values, where the pursuit of academic excellence is combined with environmental responsibility. By continuing to engage with international partners and diplomatic institutions, UI GreenMetric further strengthens the role of universities as key players in supporting and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on a global scale.
